Colposcopy Equipment
Colposcopy equipment can be used to magnify the source area associated with vaginal discharge and enable cryotherapy treatment.
A solution of acetic acid is wiped on the cervix for dysplastic cells to become white and visible, the more dense the area the more abnormal it is. If the abnormality is found, LLETZ or LEEP procedure is prescribed for treatment.

During the procedure the woman sits on the special couch and the doctor puts a speculum into the vagina to visualize it. In the procedure the doctor uses a colposcope - a large electric microscope with a bright light on the end of it.
