HPV Colposcopy
For diseases such as HPV, colposcopy procedure allows better examination of the cervix to determine if cryosurgery is needed.
Pap smear is probably the first step to determine cervical conditions caused by human papillomavirus. In the case of abnormal or atypical cells, an examination is needed. This procedure is performed in a doctor’s office and the results are ready in 2-3 weeks.
