Colposcopy Pictures
With colposcopy pictures you will have an idea about the procedure performed on your cervical area; leep procedure is often used during the same visit to remove minor disorders.
It may be cervical dysplasia, HPV, ASCUS or other minor problems. It is usually performed after a Pap smear test has shown abnormalities. In this procedure, a colposcope is used to visualize the surface of the cervix and determine the cause and location of the abnormalities.

Cervical, LEEP Procedure
The procedure is relatively simple and takes about 15-20 minutes. Abnormal tissues are seen as white and no light passes through them. To visualize the surface of the cervix a large electronic microscope with a bright light, called colposcope, is used.
