Colposcopy Photo
A colposcopy photo of the area may enhance the area with hpv impaired tissue and, if severe, a cone biopsy conducted.
If there is just mild dysplasia present, then it will be advised to have follow ups every three months or possibly to have a cryotherapy (freezing) of the cervix. If moderate or severe levels show up, then a cone biopsy or LEEP procedure may be recommended.
