Agcus Pap
The agcus pap or ASCUS results from a pap will often detect the presence of the human papillomavirus, which also causes vaginitis.
The main purpose of this test is to find early changes in the cervix and begin treatment as early as possible to leave cervical cancer no chances. The annual test is recommended for every adult woman who is either sexually active or not.

This test is usually done during a pelvic exam. It is a gentle scraping of the loose cells at the surface of the cervix. The sample is put on a glass slide and examined by a pathologist for any precancerous changes and abnormalities.
