Leep And Cervix
The procedure called a leep and cervix conditions, such as cervical cancer are often performed with a colposcopy.
During the procedure, your physician will remove the abnormal tissue and test it for cancer. The whole procedure takes 10 to 20 minutes. A period of 2-4 weeks is normally needed for the neck to be healed. A woman should have a follow-up PAP smear every 3 months or so.
